About this tool

This age calculator uses a date-of-birth field and a Calculate button. It compares the chosen day with the current date, counts whole years, and subtracts one year when the month and day have not yet occurred this year. Invalid dates show an error instead of a fake age.

How to use

  1. Open the calculator: Load this page in a modern browser so the date field and Calculate button appear.
  2. Choose the birth date: Select the date of birth in the date picker (default sample is 2000-01-01).
  3. Calculate the age: Click Calculate. The tool compares that date with today and returns completed years.
  4. Read the result: Check the result line for Age: N years, or fix the date if you see Invalid date.

FAQ

Does the result include months and days?

No. It reports completed calendar years only, such as Age: 25 years.

Why did my age drop by one year near my birthday?

If today’s month and day are before your birthday this year, the tool correctly keeps you one year younger until that date.

What happens with an empty or broken date?

The calculator shows Invalid date instead of inventing a number.

Is my birth date sent to a server?

Calculation runs in your browser when you click Calculate; you do not need an account.
