About this tool

This hours minutes calculator adds Hours to Minutes divided by 60 for decimal hours, and also computes Hours times 60 plus Minutes for the total minute count. Non-finite input shows Enter valid numbers. Results refresh live as you edit either field.

How to use

How are total minutes computed?

Total minutes equal Hours multiplied by 60, plus the Minutes value.

Can minutes be greater than 59?

Yes. Values over 59 still convert; for example 90 minutes adds 1.5 hours.
